Less than an hour after this picture was taken, what should have been a day of celebration of the team’s promotion to the Second Division ended in tragedy when, five minutes before half time, fire broke out in the main stand, killing 56 spectators and injuring at least 265. - ( Stafford Heginbotham Club Chairman )
